Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tiqa on WhatsApp and the tiqa.app website operated by Tiqa LLC.

By messaging Tiqa or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service description: Tiqa compares a price you submit (via barcode photo, EAN number, or supported store link) against online offers and about 90 days of price history, then returns one of three informational verdicts: Fair Price, Overpriced, or Scam Risk, plus alternatives when available.

Free for shoppers: the consumer check on WhatsApp is free. We may introduce partner "View deal" links or other commercial features without charging shoppers for basic checks.

Messaging and opt-out: conversations start with you — Tiqa replies to messages you send our WhatsApp number and does not send unsolicited messages. Planned features such as price alerts will require your explicit opt-in. You may stop all communications at any time by no longer messaging us or by blocking our number; we honor every such request.

No warranty: verdicts are informational only. They are not financial, legal, or consumer-protection advice, and they do not guarantee that a seller is honest or that a product is authentic, available, or safe to buy.

Price data can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Market conditions change. Always use your own judgment before paying.

Acceptable use: you may use Tiqa for personal, non-abusive price checks. You may not attempt to overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service; send illegal content; or use Tiqa to harass others.

Quota: to keep the service fair and free, we apply a daily check limit per user (for example, a fixed number of checks per day). Exceeding the quota may temporarily block further checks.

Intellectual property: Tiqa branding, site content, and software remain our property. You keep rights to content you send us, and grant us a limited license to process it to provide the service.

Tiqa is an independent service built on the WhatsApp Business Platform. Tiqa LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by Meta Platforms, Inc. or WhatsApp LLC. WhatsApp and the WhatsApp logo are trademarks of their respective owner.

Limitation of liability: to the fullest extent permitted by law, Tiqa is not liable for purchase decisions, losses from relying on a verdict, third-party seller conduct, or Meta/WhatsApp outages.

Changes: we may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
